Brand new iPhone XR was updated to iOS 15.2 and the main camera/flash stopped working. The front camera/flash works fine but as soon as I switch to the back camera, the screen goes black/blank.

Any advice on how to roll-back to iOS 14.8?

I've searched online but would prefer a guideline or (guideline link) from one of mybb users who has successfully rolled-back to a previous iOS version.

I think apple stopped signing 14.8 a couple of months ago so, afaik, you can’t roll back.

Try some of the fixes suggested when you Google the issue.

Tried and no luck. Guess I'll have to log a return as it's only one week old.
That should have been your first choice - rolling back to an older OS doesn't bode well for that particular device.

Definitely sounds like a hardware issue with your particular device that needs to be fixed under warranty.
If this was a iPhone XR issue in general I know for 1 that MacRumours would be a mess with complaints and so would Reddit, not seeing much around Xr and iOS 15.2, especially given that the Xr is an incredibly popular device.
