You reckon there’s any chance they could include faf in the squad at the 25th hour? Would they be breaking any rules? Or is it an issue of COVID protocols? Or is it a case of egos and pride? Ie we well look like right twats if we make an about turn on his selection now?

Are they limited in the size of squad they select?

I think if someone gets injured during practice, then yes. Otherwise I doubt it they are allowed to do it.

Believe you can still make changes not sure till what date, Pakistan did change.

But boucher & Smith ego's would never allow for this. They would need to admit they were wrong with the initial squad picked...

No, he is retired from 4 day and 50 cricket. He still plays t20.
He was in the chennai squad same as lungi & faf. Just didn't get much game time this season as jadeja and moeen also offer something with the bat.

But T20 for SA? He should just retire from SA T20. We have two young decent spinners now.

Because he is still better then all them except maybe shamsi.

CPL & PSL this year wickets @13 & 20. Economy rates of 6.4 & 6.8.

That is world class.

It’s 50/50 though, they need to comply with the rules. Disappointed in Tahir though, CSA made him, he should at least do the minimum to meet the requirements for squad selection.
They both old though, so maybe it’s their time anyway.
