At least he got the player of the match. His innings was the base and Rohit cemented it.

Another big chase successful in the competition. You have to have a small feel for the bowlers who are taking a hammering in all of this.

The game is evolving so fast, and bowlers are bearing the brunt. Check out the list of highest successful IPL run chases. Look how many of them are this year:

Crazy how in years gone past, 200 would have won you a game 99 out of a 100 times. Now, 260 isn't enough...
 
I think there are 13 or 14 games left before the finals and eliminations. Things are getting super exciting as there are still so many teams in with a possibility of qualifying. I loving all games even if it is teams winning I don't favour.

Tonight GT thumped SRH to go top of the table. Rabada is currently tied in most number of wickets. Klaassen is marginally in front with most runs. Just wow!

and they have RCB next :) Not being able to defend a scores over 200 and putting down simple catches has been the story of the latter half of the tournament
 
Tonight's game should be a good one. I see it as a must win for CSK and LSG desperately need it for a little pride.

It sort of spices up tonight's match up. I have enjoyed the CSK come-back in this IPL, but my support is for SRH to go all the way. Man alive, this IPL has really been a humdinger for me.
 
Cummins to Samson, OUT
Big appeal from Cummins and Kishan for the caught behind and the umpire agrees. Samson isn't sure and reviews. I think I heard a noise. Let's see. On a length just outside off, nibbling away from Samson, who pushes at it and, yep, there is a clear spike on the UltraEdge when ball is next to bat. Cummins' Test match length does it for SRH and Samson departs for a quick 27. There was a fairly big nick and deflection, so it was a weird review from Samson

It really intrigues me how quality players go for a review when they know they're done. A nick like this, surely he must have known. So why review it.
 
An interesting tussle yesterday with CSK v SRH. It turned out to be a good contest with SRH taking the chase with 6 balls to spare.

The result put SRH and GT into the qualifiers. It leaves one spot up for qualification. It is mathematical for a few. Realistically one of RR and PK are the likely candidates for the spot. On recent performance neither 100% deserve the spot.
