IPTV - any good?

I have a better provider with excellent quality and great support. If you'd like, I can share it with you.
Hey pls share, my current provider is turning is dropping the ball.

So all you iptv guys. Who has some of them channels cut off. There was a raid on a pretty big "infrastructure" guy in the UK last week. Many services usually use the same backend sources.

My service has taken a dip with the sky channels, but I think my overall service has been subpar for a while. Only really persisted with them because they are the only provider I've found that have DD+5.1 audio tracks for movie channels, a real bonus if you have a receiver in the signal chain.

I switched from traditional services to IPTV a while ago, and honestly, it's been a good move for me. The thing is that you can catch most of the regular shows, sports (rugby and cricket included), and movies that you’d normally get, but it's all online.
I have been spoiled by VoD. I can watch what I want to when I want to.

I tried the IPTV thing for a couple of days but I tended to not find something to watch. I hate starting something midway through.

Certainly, I primarily utilise live streams for sports and news. Fortunately, my service provider also offers an extensive library of movies and series available on demand.

Care to share the name? Or is it another one of those Top Secret providers like @TheMightyQuin's?

The IPTV world is a rather murky and dubious place to play. Especially given MultiChoice's recent drive to clamp down.

I used to have a "I couldn't give a fck" attitude to discussing it on these streets, but I think one can seriously prejudice oneself by divulging too much...

So... "proceed with caution"...
