Irritating Issue

I am totally not comfortable in 60km zones, i will slow down at the camera sign in case there is one but beyond that I am more comfortable at 80km/h, It will be chaos on the roads if we all crawl along at 60km/h, i do feel cars have advanced and I feel that 60km/h speed should be reviewed, it's only good enough for deeply rural areas and very limited places in urban areas.

.

How will that mean chaos? I find the speed differential between law breakers and the rest of us causes the chaos. If everyone followed the law we would all be travelling consistently.

If you drive at 60kmh in a 60kmh zone you are likely to cause traffic to back up a mile and quite possibly be involved in a road rage incident. Don't know about rest of the country.

^This, ohhh definitely this.

Isn't that our gripe with trucks though? and no, not on the highways even on our lacal roads. I don't think there is just any way even our , " i never speed goody two shoes" can stick to 60km/h for the whole stretch of where the speed limitation applies. I've never seen anyone patient enough to stay behind that guy with his skewed jalopy going at 60km/h.

I agree though someone excessively exceeding the spped limit is a danger to other motorist and i would be the first to judge someone doing 120 in a 60 zone or 200 in a 120km zone.

And that bugs you? Why do you worry about what people behind you think? You really shouldn't be such a pushover.

In other words you’ll break the law, deciding for yourself how far you think it’s safe to go, but you’ll judge someone who sets the limit higher than you do. Isn’t that just a little conceited?

Not one bit, makes it really easy to recognise the myBB drivers :D

Ah yes...

I get very irritated when people slink on the road.

It's the worst thing ever.

I thrive on those glares from the person behind. The fun ones are the ones who will likely never get that.
I also sometimes wait 1 second before pulling off after the traffic light has changed. Makes my day.

True, I will frown upon anyone who gets a ticket for going 200km/h but someone who gets a ticket for for doing 72 in a 60km/h zone is my comrade, he is the one who is keeping this country moving, I like it very much when things are moving.

Where do you people drive? On the moon? Next time you are in a 60kmh zone doing your regular 55kmh, I challenge you to attempt to estimate the speeds of the other 9/10 drivers. Not the taxis. The moms with their kids, the privileged Audi driver in his neat suit.

All the people in my rearview mirror are pretty much doing 55.

I say close that gap comrades, if you happen to get a ticket while doing so pay the ticket like a good citizen.
