Is anyone else mining? I'm a noob.

Mining on the 960 is fine for now, but when profitability drops 40%, you're mining for Eskom. With this trend in gpu mining.. Isn't there a prediction for reduced profitability?

So basically my board can handle 3 cards (space in case might be an issue) without risers?

Just looked at the GTX 1050, is doesnt seem like a good card for mining. Basically putting out the same 0.9 USD per day as the GTX 960. Should I just go big or go home?

I got two 1050 ti cards for next to nothing. I get around 26MH/s with them using Nicehash, and they top out at around 60w each. If you can go bigger, go for it. It'll probably save you some frustration.

That's something that I never knew! Thanks. This means I can try fit 2 more cards in my board when I get home since I'm still waiting for my risers :p

I'm sure you can make them fit... :)

Clarify. Do you get 26 with each or both running the same algorithm.

Also, what tool are you using to determine their power usage?

Jirre! I cannot afford a new board (or card, or both!) any time soon :p

No chance in hell that a 1050TI will run at 26MH/s so I'm sure he means both of them together

Same here. I don't even know why I was toying with the idea! :D

:p

So can you or anyone else tell me if I can use NiceHashMiner with the same Luno Bitcoin account on more than one PC at the same time. I have a 'spare' gaming PC with a good'ish GFX that I could put to use.

Yes. I used to use one of my spare PC and my HTPC to mine. All you do is enter any bitcoin address, but different worker names. Else you won't know which PC is which when you're at work and want to check what they're doing on nicehash's site.

I used the same worker name on both of mine and always got confuzzled as to which worker is which

Ok thanks. Will try it this weekend.

OK, after 3 days of mining, my balance on nicehash checkmypage dropped to zero. What has happened?
