Hi, i am currently using claymore to dual mine SIA and ether and i am happy with the returns.
however i started looking at awesome miner and i like to profit switching option.

I see the payout is in bitcoin and i like the idea of splitting my coins...can it be set up in a way that my ether and sia mining will be paid in ether/sia and everything else in bitcoin?

how are you guys using it?

also, i started with a linux rig, and then i moved to windows, and it's a bit of a challenge as i have only 32gb ssd.
what are the requirements for AM?does the virtual page must be 16gb (like claymore?)?
thanks,Bar1

I am using awesome miner on MiningPoolHub with profit switching on. The rig has 2x1070s, 1x580 (2 more coming on Thursday) 1x570 and have no issues. The Nvidias have their own profit switching as to do the AMD cards. I have set my virtual page to 25GB and have never had issues.

Awesome miner is just a handler. You can configure individual software and even the profit miners however you like.

So you guys do profit switching and cashing out in bitcoin?

Using Awesome Miner and using with Cgminer and Sgminer. Its one of the few apps your can use to bypass the latest AMD dll driver crashes while taking advantages of the speed perks.

Also if you are using old hardware that's not compatible with the latest mining updates, you can still configure custom profiles and exe's. I use claymore 9.7 and optiminer for equihash. Opti gets me like 18-20% better hashrate.

so i did a bit of research and watched some videos....
everyone is getting paid in 1 coin.
i like the fact that i currently have Ether and Sia ,
can AM be set up so my sia will be send to my sia wallet, ether to ether and everything else to bitcoin?
is it even recommended?

Not AM, it's just a mining software handler. Miningpoolhub can do auto exchange to a global coin and exclusion of a per coin basis. You can also specify thresholds for transfer to external wallets on a per coin basis.

Anyone else encounter a problem where awesome miner seems to try and use onborad graphics to mine instead of the gpu? Disabled onboard in bios and now it says cant find any devices.

i have 1 Nvidia and 2 AMD's....do i just set up 2 miners?

Claymore duel is mining on all GPU's regardless of the miner...so i have to manually press "2" to disable GPU 2.
is there anyway to set it up?

so i basically need to add -di 01 to the amd miner and -di 2 to the Nvidia miner

i managed to sort out most of my issues with AM.
still not too sure its better then straight claymore with Ether/Sia but will give it time.

how do you guys monitor AM on the free version?
can MPH send an email when my miner stop mining (same as ethermine)?

I've found Ccminer-KlausT quite a bit faster on almost all algos on Nvidia cards. Its easy to add to Awesome Miner under managed software.

do you have a link with instructions?

Nope but Ill try explain.

Download CcMiner-KlausT from github.
https://github.com/KlausT/ccminer/releases
ccminer-820-cuda91-x64.zip

Extract to a path, say C:\Miners\ccminer-820-cuda91-x64

Then in Awesome miner options, Managed Software, Add

Description: CcMiner-KlausT
Compatibility Mode: Full
Compatible Software: CcMiner
Enable (checkbox) all algos that have default = enabled
Ok

Then in Awesome miner options, Profit Profiles, Nvidia GPU, Edit

CcMiner-KlausT will now be at the bottom of the list and disabled, move it up the order before the other ccminers and enable with checkbox.

Click on configure and define the path to the executable, whatever you made it e.g C:\Miners\ccminer-820-cuda91-x64\ccminer.exe

Ok
Ok

If you go to the benchmark then CcMiner-KlausT should be the default miner for a few algos, give them a benchmark and see.

It does not support all the algos main CcMiner does so you will have to disable those algos for CcMiner-KlausT from the managed software you added before.
