is gmail down or is it my new 64k sim?

since my 64k sim was activated at around 3pm yesterday i have not been able to log onto my gmail which is A CRISIS!!!

at first thought maybe gmail was down.... but nearly a day later i can still not get anywhere near gmail, not even the log in screen... anyone experiencing the same? could it be my sim?
 
aha the puzzle deepens... just called 155 support. asked them to log onto gmail... they logged on no problem.. so gmail is not down. i go to google , search gmail, try access any of their other pages, no luck. it doesnt even like pause while it gets info from them.. its like instant "this page cannot be displayed" 155 support just phoned back to say, i must try ping gmail, but they dont know how.... nor do i so crap here i sit... now i know its definately soomething to do with my new sim

is it new problem or have you been able to get gmail with it no prob?
 
ive been running gmail no sweat since december...
 
SSL = Secure Socket Layer (for websites with https://)
In installing your new SIM, some settings must have changed. Contact 155 and ask them how to ensure that SSL works.
 
I tihnk it's Gmail having problems. I've been having various issues the last few days on different networks. The https issue did pop up with friend [add an "s" after the http when you login].

Today for example i just got a "page cannot be displayed" page. Then hour later i logged on fine. Both times on 3G.

I do recommend if you can't get into it via web, setup the POP3 in outlook and get it via that. [Hopefully you did turn it on on in gmail account settings].
