Is it really that bad in SA?

Anyone who says that Australia has no natural beauty is literally retarded.


Anyone who says there is something wrong with Australian people is also suffering some sort of mental handicap.
 
Regardless of all the pros and cons on cost of living, lifestyle, crime, services, etc etc there is a bigger picture which is the very real threat of looming civil unrest and political instability. If you have resources and can be mobile, somewhere like Cape Town can offer you a great lifestyle at the moment, but do you really want to setup roots with children when the below is going on - it would be highly irresponsible right now IMHO:

“We will run out of patience very soon and we will remove this government through the barrel of a gun‚” Malema said in an interview with Al Jazeera’s Jonah Hull to be screened on Sunday evening and again on Monday afternoon.

He said the EFF was a peaceful organisation but was not scared to fight if the ANC responded violently to its peaceful protests.

What? More people are killed here daily than in all the wars over the world. Crime is out of control. Talk of more anti white laws re work.
if you would be able to find work as a white person in a few years.

It's called the vocal minority.
 
Death rate in SA is pretty astronomical. If you take the Murder rate and the Road accidents death rate. Figure the percentage chance you have to become one of those statistics. Most people would be shocked to find out that in a 70 year life you have between a 3 and 4% chance to die to one of those unnatural causes.

Now of course, your chances will differ depending on the area that you live, the people that you associate with, the roads you travel on, etc... But 3.5% is way too large for my liking. That is only one individual. Families are made up of much more than that. So chances are that in your entire life, you will have to say good-bye to a family member due to a horrific road death or murder.

So with these extra freedoms that people talk about, comes a not insignificant chance of a brutal death. People like to scoff at it, when this kind of thing is brought up. Because as humans we avoid death and the thought of death on the whole.
I am willing to bet that most people on this forum can tick one of these boxes:

Either <you> or someone you know has: [ You obviously doesn't apply to death scenarios ]
  • Died in a traffic related accident.
  • Been Murdered.
  • Narrowly survived a traffic accident
  • Narrowly survived an attempted murder
  • Been Hijacked at gunpoint
  • Narrowly escaped being hijacked
  • Been the victim of a home invasion (Whether successful or not)
  • Had a gun or knife directed at their person
  • Had something taken off of their person, by an aggressor. (Mugging)

Personally I can tick of multiple items and multiple times.

Having said that, your kids prospects regarding tertiary education and any kind of future career are declining daily, there is zero social security safety net, ever increasing crime, ever increasing anti-white rhetoric and a highly uncertain political future.

If I was single or didn't plan on having kids and financially secure, living in CT would be a no-brainer, so long as there is an exit strategy if things go really FUBAR. If I had a family, forget it, not worth it.

This is my opinion as well. If you have money and live in one of the better areas you're fine.

However the education system is on the decline and thus bringing up kids here is not a good idea. Think about how things might be 20 years from now (schools and universities).

None of them for myself, family or people I know. The exception being my neighbours with a home invasion but their security was lacking imo.

No electric fence and easily accessible yard. Yes, we shouldn't need to live like this.

But this is the only incident I know of. Personally had a break in in 1989 and my car window broken a few times in the 90's.

I can tick of all of those except the first, just between 4 close relatives including myself. I myself have been a victim of the last 3 multiple times. FFS. :mad:
