Most worth it ever in terms of SA internet were the R200 30GB accounts of the past.
It's weird that we have to aspire to the past in an industry that naturally moves forward (well in other countries).
I'm using a 10GB Local-Only IS ADSL account and pre-paid SAIX, I was using the 2GB+28GB IS ADSL, but decided to scale down to 10GB to keep costs down and split local and international.Since I recently received my monthly invoice for next months 2gb/28gb IS account and taking into account all the reports of a severely degraded service I find myself asking the above question.
Would the same money not be better spent on a 10gb SAIX local account?
EDIT - for the sake of argument lets say I'm wanting to use the bandwidth to supplement my television viewing experience![]()
I'm not on a debit order with my IS 2/30gb account, so next month, if I decide to support the lesser of two evils, I will get a 1/10gb IS account. If it carries on being k@k, then maybe the 5gb SAIX local account for me from then on. IMO R19 per gig for local is a major rip off tho!
On IS, I dont seem to be getting cached speeds anymore for downloads that are supposedly cached. Such a waste of time... I have 17gb to use up in the next 4 daysNot a chance I will get my money's worth..
Well, if they keep forgetting to put the bird feed out, then this little crow is going to fly awaymaybe IS is over crowed...
