Lately I keep getting emails with my own address in the 'From:' bar, and in the latest one it says: "Having trouble viewing this e-mail? Click here. To ensure that you keep receiving savings e-mails, please [email protected] (my add.) to your Address Book. Thank you!"

Is my machine sending out spam messages or is my address just being inserted into the message :S?

Your email address is definitely being spoofed, however it is possible that this is happening on your PC - best that you install & configure a decent firewall and do lots of anti-malware scans, also be sure to patch up Windoze with Updates. Then stop using your Telkodemonopolies email address, and switch to a GMail account.

Check out the latest version of Spybot Search and Destroy, it's getting some great reviews lately and I've used it with some success in the past ;)

That is the most likely case. If you check the mail headers, they would probably reveal an entirely different server that is sending the mail to you. Scammers obviously make use of these techniques to perform phishing episodes.

I would also second this. It's a really great program - plus it's freeware.

Definatly spoofed mail. I don't know what smtp servers dont have a build in function where it drops mail where the from mail is the same as the receiving domain.
