IS News Server down?

I did like 15 gigs on the news servers this weekend :) but now struggling to get 5KB/s :(
 
Ermm guys the more attention you draw to the servers on this thread, the more crappy the speeds are going to get. There's a forum on newshost.za.net to discuss the servers and it's speed. Please let this thread die already :/
 
i dont understand how you okes are going so slowly im going at 30.1 now

brenden dude all i have to to say about you is rofl

i know your not a geek like the rest of us on this forum so ROFL in cool guy means rolling on the floor laughing

brenden i think you should stop using the news server because it doesnt work china, nobody gets more than 5kbs we all just lie :) so stop using it now and give us some more kbs

newshost.za.net is not locally hosted and I have to switch my connection every time I want to visit it. *Very* inconvenient.
 
well brenden maybe if you where a geek like you say everyone is you would know about routesentry and you wouldnt have to worry about switching to anything

Get over the geek thing - it's old already. I know about routesentry. PPPOE screws with my network so I don't use it.

how big is your network cool boi?

is it a home network?

rasppoe doesnt mess with our network

seems to work fine

do you have a huge network?
or is it a normal windows configured network?

U speak of the little time we have.. Im not a gamer, but im not really sociable (u seem to put a priority on socialising) so I tend to spend more time alone or with a small group of (usually geeky) people than out doing "cool" stuff. I really dont see y i should spend the little time i have doing things i dont want to
