Is porn bad?

@MQ. It's called a joke but while we're on the subject I find a full bush on a hotty frikken hot. It just says real woman to me. I'm a bit worried that pubic hair has gone the way of armpit hair and it'll become a fetish thing.

Me too.

Before I came to South Africa most of the women I dated never owned a razor and I liked it that way.
I am sorry that a stupid shaving fetish has gripped the majority of women.
Hair is a symbol of maturity and womanhood and I wonder if those men who demand it shaved off have paedophile fantasies.

My last girlfriend only shaved the first few times, when we went from making out to the next stage and then the stage after that. Same with me, I hate shaving. But I did it cause I wanted her to like it. After a few weeks we both were just like, '**** that too much effort.'

Thank god, shaving hurts like a mother****er.

You from eastern Europe by any chance? :D

I agree with the shaved bush being ridiculous, but hairy legs or armpits on a woman is just a bit off-putting. It's all the media's fault really.. bloody Americans telling us shaved snatches are sexy and everything else is disgusting.

Although, they also say it's disgusting for men to not have a piece of their dicks cut off so **** them very much.

From Zambia in the days when there were a lot of European expats - German, Scandinavian etc.

Until the 1920’s women never shaved and men were happy to have them that way. The change came when the advertising industry suggested to the major manufactures of shaving products that, via advertising campaigns, women could be humiliated into removing the “unsightly” hair and thus double the sales of shaving products.

For a long time European women stayed natural but that look has largely gone now.

I'm guessing you're about 25 or so? When I grew up it was pretty much the norm women to be unshaved. I went through a stage when I preferred it shaved but I feel as though the novelty has worn off. I'm not judging because I find hairy legs on a woman repulsive but I guess an unshaved pu$$y just seems like a statement of being comfortable with yourself and not pandering to media images of sexiness.

You guessed wrong... add another 17 years to that. For me it is mostly about hygiene and not the esthetics. It is tougher for a woman to keep this area fresh and breezy with a thick bush around it, absorbing every bit of smell, moisture etc etc. Very much the same with armpit hair. I trim my armpits to the skin and it reduces the risk of even the faintest whiff of sweat by 99%. Hair absorbs "smell" and it is tough to get it out again. But hey...to each his/her own.

The legs and under the arms perhaps. Besides we modify our bodies in various ways, so why is specific hair out of bounds?

I wonder if those men who demand it shaved off have paedophile fantasies.
Then you should say the same about men who like smooth legs and faces on a woman. And naturally the same should be said of women who prefer men clean shaven.

Why is one ridiculous, but not the other?

Because one is the private parts, facial or leg hair is not so private. Would have thought it's quite obvious.

I agree, it is arbitrary. I don't buy the sanitary argument though. It's like the sanitary argument for circumcision. Its not that much harder to keep it clean. And there's nothing wrong with a little fresh body odor.
