is telkom having issues right now?

Yeah. 425 ping to mybb speed test and can't even break 0.37 download so yeah it's pretty much dead. KZN.

Actually came here to see if others are having issues. Been about 30 mins now.

Probably a cable break somewhere.
 
Sites are loading quicker for me now just latency is a bit dodgy still.
 
Also no connection on my phone since 15:00. Had to switch over to second network on my iPhone. Thought there was something wrong with my setup. But restart made no difference. Shows signal but no throughput on Telkom.
 
High ping to US servers since this morning.
 
Today was pretty crap for me.
Is anyone experiencing any speed issues?

It's up and down. Really awful.

I live in Hillcrest (Durban area) and to me it looks like the issue is with the B40 (2300mhz) band
 
Can someone try to explain to me when I ping 1.1.1.1 my ping is normal and if I ping 8.8.8.8 my ping is 80-100.

Cloudflare warp sorted the issue, seems like google services give me latency?
