This...I don’t know what the right answer to this is, or that there is a right answer, but this third wave has affected more people in my circle and environment than the first two combined which means we are all isolating regardless. Levels don’t matter at this point.
And rightfully so.[x] They could put whatever restrictions in that they want to, but people are just ... doing whatever they want.
Precisely. We don't need the government corruption council to tell us what to do. We are all capable of making our own risk assessments and living accordingly.I don’t know what the right answer to this is, or that there is a right answer, but this third wave has affected more people in my circle and environment than the first two combined which means we are all isolating regardless. I think India just looked so bad when viewing raw number of daily deaths, cause there's just so many Indians.View attachment 1096713

So far it seems that the deaths aren't as high as second wave comparing number of people infected vs deaths daily, by now in the second wave we were hitting 200 to 300 deaths a day, yet now we're hitting 100 to 130? Perhaps this new strain is just more transmittable and not more virulent? Perhaps India was just a fluke because of other reasons I've mentioned before.
