For those who don't know it yet, the World Wide Web (shortened WWW) is not entirely the internet.
And the article writer wasn't really hammering on Facebook alone, but rather about the fact that more and more people are using mobile devices to communicate with their friends.
Traditional Websites are busy fading out due to social media portals like Facebook which is much easier accessible from your Blackberry, iPad, Andriod phone, etc. Just look at how many people on this very forum uses a mobile device these days to post.
The era of HTML websites is long gone, we all know it. But it looks like the ERA of normal websites (not Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, forums, blogs, etc) is going to come to an end soon as well.
