Is this a scammer responding to a Junkmail ad? What are the tell-tale signs? Willing to pay straightaway? Willing to send someone to pickup? A surprise gift for someone close? No questions about where from? Using an international payment service? The name? The gmail address?

Can the table be turned on him?

Hi Enigma, I would like to buy this for my cousin as a surprise for him but can you assure me it's in good condition. What is your final asking price and do you have a Payoneer account so I can make the payment now? Also be informed that a pickup agent will be coming for the pickup once I have made the payment.

Nothings changed only the victims.

Scam, using these same old tactic.

Yup, looks like it. SO what are you going to do, send them to a bogus address to collect?

And then say

Check the headers of the email as well, it might be a fake email address...

This is how it played out. He stopped. Who lives in Roux Paul? :)

Like I said, I have already made all arrangements with the pickup agent as he also needs to pick more items on his way to my cousin.

I usually put in my adverts on gumtree and Facebook and similar spammer warehouses.

Payment must be EFT / Payshap and clear in my account before any items can be sent. No other payment platforms accepted.

PUDO locker to locker only.

No third party collections.

Chance takers will be ignored.

If it is a big item/furniture. EFT / Cash Only. Only deal directly with buyer upon collection or XXX Courier. No third party collections.

I think @ShaunSA might have lived in Ru Paul briefly. However if you are talking about Paul Roux @etienne_marais currently lives there.
RuPaul open marriage: His life outside of Drag Race.

My mom got the exact same email. Word for word, same name but different email address. I was highly suspicious so just googled it and came across your post.

I've gone through a similar thing and expected a scammer like many before but after putting the usual roadblocks in place like only releasing the item once payment has been cleared the money cleared someone showed up to collect and all was well.

90% of the time its a scam though.
