I have the following:

Intel Centrino duo 1.77ghz
160gb drive(3 years old)
2gb ram
DVD writer
Battery still good (+- 1.5 hrs with screen dimmed, +- 40min on bright setting)
Powersupply (100% working, needs kettle cord)
Windows 7 ultimate (legit - registered, incl all updates)

and here is the offer i can get (WUG Kit):

We can do a swop but I cant pay anything in.
Ill make it a new 23db grid with a new outdoor enclosure.
With a 5Ghz wifi card for the Wug connection and a wifi card that can do 2.4ghz and 5ghz for you to make a wifi hotspot you can connect your pc’s to.
And the routerboard 433AH you can run 3 wifi cards with this board)
Also 1.5m mast and a wall mount bracket

Yes it is worth it. A 23db grid antenna is around +- R700ex, a RB433AH is +- R1600ex, mast + bracket +- R250ex, enclosure +- R250ex. Make sure he includes the antenna cables to connect to the RB, and includes the POE. Only thing you would need to do is run a shielded UV network cable down from the pole into your house.

There is newer dual polaity dishes with MIMO that would provide better connectivity, but it is still a good deal. If you can sell your PC for around +- R2500 which is doubtfull - but there are suckers ;) get a Basebox 5 and a 30dbi airmax dish + pole and bracket + network cable, might need a pay in of a few hundred, but will serve better in the future.

Just make sure you earth your setup properly and run the setup past the WUG guys on IRC. I had my network blasted out 4 times when I ran a high site here.

A residential link can be earthed into the house structure I believe.

You would be able to connect to the wug network. First check that there is line of site to their towers. The routerboard does allow three wirelesa cards and antennas so you would be able to relay, but usually only useful if you are in a tall building.
