If 48% of a group of people want to forcibly remove people on the basis of their racial heritage, what does that make the 48% of the population? Now, how does anyone interpret this as other than saying that Israels citizens are racist...
What is rational?A rational fear of people who share the ideology and identity of your enemies is not racism.
Maybe if anything in the article suggested that Arabs had any reason to experience actual fear for speaking Arabic in public we would ignore the hyperbole and discuss the discrimination. I'm certainly not going to call it racism, any more than I would call not seeing Zulu on a road sign or document in SA racist.
When the anti-Israel brigade stop coating everything with a thick layer of BS, I might consider examining what they have to say for validity. I shouldn't have to sift through their rhetoric for truth.
Humanity includes the Jews very much. Humanity includes the non-Jews very much. All are equally part of humanity. Humanity is universally and individually bestowed with basic human integrity and value. It's really not a complicated philosophical/moral/political position, I assure you.
But I note how you dodge your feelings for the Jews, seeing as you didn't answer my question. So why aren't you providing your own credentials, Mr Inquisitor? Hmmmmm?
It's not slip sliding. If you stand universally for humanity you never have to move anywhere.
If 48% of a group of people want to forcibly remove people on the basis of their racial heritage, what does that make the 48% of the population?
But I thought you were not anti-Jew?
I don't doubt there is a lot of antagonism and prejudice towards the arabic-speaking populace. But then, haven't many of the Arabic nations around them expressed a yearning to wipe the nation of Israel off the face of the earth? Or Arabs launching rockets indiscriminately at civilian populations? Pulled out knives and attacked people walking in the street?
Yes - Israel has committed many atrocities as well. Quite frankly, all I see is hatred between the two groups. Neither are right. But just focusing on the one viewpoint does show where your interests are. No matter how much you deny it. Which is just another reason I do not respect anything you have to say.
Sorry, where have I ignored such things?Anti USA, anti Israel. In that entire schitehole of the ME you'd happily single out israel and ignore the abomination that is their neighbours with almost non-existing human rights.
But hey we see you for what you are![]()
Apparently that makes them "rational", because they have a "rational fear of people who share the ideology and identity of your enemies."
Now, can you imagine a poll of x% Israeli Arabs that want to expel Jews. What would they be called... Hmm... Can't put my finger on it... It's on the tip of my tongue...
I'm guessing it won't be 'rational', though.![]()
Hey dude, do the racists in this country believe in the reality of white monopoly capital or not? Do they perceive you as a real threat or are they just lying about it?
You think there aren't white racists out there trying to destroy all the black? :erm:
Uhuh. And when it became clear he wasn't listening? I mean, he's racist, right?
I already did, Spliiiiiiiinter.
Seriously, pay attention if you're going to troll.
At some point you also have to realise that they don't care, or they think they deserve it.
If everyone is equal, just mentioning two particular, but equal, population groups should cause you no pain in settling this debate. Seeing as you have no issue in singling out Israel as a population group. So, kindly state in writing what I have asked you to, or have zero credibility in your "I embrace all humanity" utterances.
Jeez - come on Xaarog. Just put it in writing. Why are you squirming so much?
Not quite.
I'm saying at some point you have to admit that racists being racist is going to mean that Israel's politics is driven by racism. At some point, you have to realise that this is the reality for the Israeli Arabs who are in the minority inside Israel. That this racism is what drives the conflict with the Occupied Territories and makes a peaceful settlement absolutely impossible...
You are trolling, he's already said it numerous times.
You're of course welcome to say the same about Arabs.
There is no meaningful distinction between Arabs or Jews. When you are done explaining how they are different in a way that actually makes sense, I will consider meeting your challenge.Jeez - come on Xaarog. Just put it in writing. Why are you squirming so much?
So Hamas is all the Palestinians now? Even if Hamas doesn't want peace, as the occupier of occupied territory, Israel has legal obligations with regards to those people under international law which are not being met. Israel must either give the people inside that territory citizenship or take such decisions that allow for the viable formation of a Palestinian state. Personally, I don't care which of these two happens. What about their racism and Israel's fellow neighbors ?
Did it ever cross your mind that Hamas doesn't want peace ?
Final note : please join the BDS crowd![]()
