iStore trade in query

For years I have been on my fathers business cell contract.

His on a MTN 100 or something, when we got our last phones we chose phones that went with that contract, cheap Samsungs, mine broke a yr later.

I went ahead and bought an iPhone5s from 3rd party, added sim and been using it since.

The contract is up renewal meaning we would have to choose 2 new phones, thinking of getting iPhone 6 @R499pm

I currently have iphone4s and iPhone 5s (in use)
Would I be able to go to iStore in Walmer (PE) and get cash back on either device.
Then get the iPhone 6 on my fathers business contract?
I assume I would need to give the iPhone5s to iStore, they then eft into my bank account.
Then get iPhone 6 on the contract my father has just renewed @R499pm

You only get the trade in if you upgrade your contract via the iStore.

I think that they then deduct the handset cost off your contract. I don't think that any money changes hands.

If you trade the iPhone 5S in on the contract you get a cash EFT.

If you trade the iPhone 5S in on a cash purchase they deduct the trade-in difference off of the cash value for the new iPhone.

No cash... Just traded in my iPhone 5 for iPhone 6. They deducted R2500 off the price
