iTalk & MTN Suck Piles

This afternoon I try make a call on my phone and I get "your account has been suspended" voice.


I go to Durban Airport MTN branch to see what the rep can do, as its past 17:00 hours.

He tells me that it will take two hours then it will be sorted.I get REF number and that should be the end of it.

Still the following day 12:57 in the morning nothing !!!

I run an engineering workshop that services a 24 hour plant.With no phone I cant do jack when break downs happen.


I have three contracts with them that have debit orders on them.


They can send endless spam to me !

"Welcome to the MTN f$%cken net work" and "enter this *** competition"

But not a quick SMS to say "Were going to cut you off ! Phone this number or go to this branch"

I have f$%cken had it with crap service from iTalk / MTN

How the bloody hell can anyone run a business when you just switch the phone off.

I have paid you ,but as usual its a one way street.

Go to MTN website, put number in drop down box to see if I can find a problem....

Could not agree more, had exactly same thing happen to me.
It's not because of an unpaid account, it's because of your credit limit.

They gave me a number, 0861332288, to call, it's for italk customers.

my friend, italk is no more, it closed completely, hell i bought a few desks at the furniture auction.

When Vodacom merged 2 sp's in the year 2000.They did not have problems like this.Vodacom merged GSM Direct and Teljoy into Vodac now known as Vodacom Service Provider Company.But what did happend was Vodacom deals were not as competitive after the merg because there is NO COMPETITION from within.If you compare All three netwoks specials today.You will notice Vodacom being the MOST EXPENSIVE.I hope this does not happend to MTN
