I am able to access, browse and download (albeit the free song/s of the week!) from the iTunes store without any trouble. However, iTunes seems to think that I am not connected to the internet when I attempt to access the internet in order to do something to my iPod, such as update it. So in summary I can access iTunes but can't access anything internet-related from the iPod screen. Is there any way to fix this?

(Windows XP PC btw...thought I may as well post this here)

Not sure if I understand what you are trying to say... You can't access the internet via your iPods screen? Is it an iPod touch like Bwana asked? Cause if it is I've seen this problem before where Safari on the ipod touch simply does not want to connect... It often relates to the Encryption used on your Wireless Router.

Lol sorry it's a little hard to explain. It's an iPod Nano 3rd gen.

You know when you connect your iPod to iTunes the name of the iPod appears on the left-hand navigation bar in iTunes? Well when you click on there it brings up a list of playlists on your iPod and allows you to select which music, videos, pictures etc. to sync with the iPod from your computer. There's an option to check for updates, but when I click on it, iTunes tells me that I'm not connected to the internet. It even happens while I'm busy using the iTunes store.

If you're still confused I could take screenshots haha.
