iTunes Store is EXTREMELY SLOW to load

Since the weekend I am unable to use the iTunes Store. It is just insanely slow to laod! I am talking 5min+

I have switched from the US store to the SA store and the same is happening. It is just not working at all.

What is up with the store? Anybody else having slow load speeds. Could it be my Unotelly DNS servers that is at fault? I have been switching between the US and SA DNS servers, but it makes no difference.

You could just remove the Unotelly DNS and see if that's the case.

I clicked play on a track from the "New" section, this was at 1345. Its 1603 and play back has not started Unlike you however, not surprised when itunes is slow and non responsive plus with no progress feedback.

I am also attempting home streaming via home sharing for the first time, what a joke. Playing another video via regular file sharing as I thought maybe my network was broken. Windows media player working as normal so clearly not that.

It will work ok again when it starts working again.

Try scandisk/checkdisk with full surface scan including system files. Or boot from external media and do all sectors scan for delays/errors which I suggest to do regularly. Programs I use: MHDD for DOS or less reliable - Vicoria for Windows.

Also had issues but with Vox, changed to Afrihost free 1gb and it flew.
