Ivy dies

i dont love her, in fact quite the opposite

You did not read my post at all.

You insult someone who is dead and I am asking if you would find it objectionable if people insulted a dead family member whom you loved very much? Or would you like it if we did that to you?

And if they insulted a family member who was not dead, it would be okay?

Here's more to freak you out, since some of you are on a roll already:

Tribute to a heroine

Dr Ivy Matsepe-Casaburri

The African National Congress has lost another struggle stalwart, Dr Ivy Matsepe-Casaburri who passed away last night after a long illness. She was in her 10th year as the Minister of Communications and had served the ANC and the country with distinction.

Dr Ivy Matsepe-Casaburri was active in the education movement, in policy development and in the fields of gender, economic development, local government and information communications and technology.

She played a key role in women empowerment, having been a founder member of the Women's Development Foundation and was a board member of the International Women's Forum of South Africa.

She served in various capacities in business, non-governmental organisation and in the public sector, and she was the first female chairperson of the board of the SABC and Premier of the Free State Province

May her soul rest in peace.

No wonder the education system is in such a mess.

The bar must be non existent if what she did was considered serving with distinction.

Pathetic.

but we already have an Ivy Lane in our town... how many more streets do we need named after her??

heh. she was 71 or something.. what did she know about technology? I hope her grandchildren take over, they would know more @ the age of 5.

Well she obviously wasn't well , so can you imagine if she died while on the job. Proof she should have been removed long ago !

No wonder she fell asleep during parlament..

I cant wait until all the "struggle" comrades are gone and forgotten

U prefer the likes of Julius Malema?
