its their hearts that were hurt and heart broken, its Afrikaans speaking ppls hearts that start apartheid. we humans most of our daily personal life decisions are mostly based on how we feel about things therefor we tend to make decisions based on our hearts which in most cases we refer to as gut feeling and only to find we hardly are ever wrong.

Mmmm. But that's not entirely correct is it? Even though Robert Mugabe virtually single handedly destroyed Zimbabwe, the voters still keep him in power? Why? Because he *freed* the country from white rule? No, most voters will probably not even remember that. The problem boils down to an illusion of leadership. Mugabe portrays this illusion extremely well. And so does Jacob Zuma. Zuma is not leadership material, the way he answers questions and skirts important issues are all evident to that fact. Why do people vote for people like Mugabe and Zuma? Easy: because they vote with emotion, rather than voting intelligently. They believe that Zuma is the Man, they believe that conspirators are out to destroy him.

It all comes down to emotion, and Zuma and other tripartite-alliance members know how to keep that emotion alive. The web of illusion is spun by blaming the past regime for everything the current regime does wrong. The Illusion is maintained by glamorising the Politicians as godlike (your biblical references as comparison with Zuma refers). The illusion is maintained by appealing to people on an emotional level about past injustice. The illusion is cast in stone by advancing cultural beliefs that are extremely problematic.
 
You guys will continue to blame appartheid for the rest of your lives. Even the cold weather is appartheid's fault. I just laugh at that way of thinking , its sooooo old already.......

WRT the first - it sure seemed like you were trying to imply that with the derogatory reference to "noobs".

WRT the second - not me. I hate the ANC just as I hated the Nats. But you have to get real about our country and our future, and the non-stop whining 1. ain't go to solve anything and 2. makes you sound like an Australian. It won't get much better, if at all - if you are going to have a stress-induced thrombosis because of that, then maybe its time to leave. To Australia perhaps.

Yes. But that's an emotional stance, and not suitable for voting in a good government. Just because someone was instrumental in the "struggle" does not qualify themas a good leader. You don't want mediocre leaders in government. Superb leaders is what you want, and I'm sorry to say, the only superb leader the ANC has dished up so far was Nelson Mandela.

it might be old news to u but its live and kicking to ppl who went through it, besided it only going to be over when ppl do eventualy get over it not becourse they are told to do so. as long as i still see my granmah still scared of white ppl than the scares of apartheid is relived in my own house hold and u tell me to get over it. think again?

Ag Jissis,I am getting tired of babyangelo`s supposedly(and only in herhis mind)intellectual discourse. As I read between “herhim”lines, it is painfully obvious that we are dealing with a person/persons,that will continually invite comment by stating the bizarre. So, as far as I am concerned, I’m out of here. My g@d to lower my self and join in a discussion about a primitive that can only generate mass hysteria under peeps that have not reached my level of evolution is beneath me. So cheers see you guys in other threads.

im sorry u are too intellectual for us , i guess my individuality is to law for your liking. amazing if its the anc goverment that is bieng sh**d on its fine but wow mension the apartheid and u are suddenly living in the premitive forgetting why the anc was formed in the first place. it doesnt matter if takes 100 years for the ppl to get over it.

its what makes me different from u, its what put such a huge didderence in our races and its what created how i feel about the past today. If it never happened our views and feeling would'nt be like how and what they are today. I still live in a township not by choice becoz my uncestors were placed there. poor education systems the gvt is still trying to fix that and yet we are suppose to forget things dat we are still dealing and trying to fix till todate, come on be fair.
 
Baby i don;'t understand what you are getting at. Do you think i support / supported appartheid? I did not !! I am just against what this gvt is doing to this country. Yes maybe some people are benefitting but i do not believe the majority are. If we do not stop it now then in the end there will be nothing left for our kids/ grandchildren. You wanna fix something? Get on with it and fix it but stop moaning about race etc etc. Stop complaining about the past and try and fix things. The only thing the anc are good at is wasting money and bringing up the race card.
