Go and make the change for yourself mate and then maybe one day you will get of of the township (if thats what u want). Siting back and moaning about the past will get you nowhere. Trust me on that.

You and your fellow township dwellers should never let that die. BUT, your current government is not doing all it can to alleviate your problems. Just remember that the current government was voted in to power by the majority of its citizens, but the majority of its citizens do not question why the government is providing services and jobs so slowly. They just accept whatever the government says - almost religiously. Finally, and this is now my closing on this issue as this debate is taking too much of my time. Remember the past, learn from its mistakes, but start building a better future by keeping your current government honest. Do not accept the excuses they dish out for their absolute incompetence. Just keep on fighting for a better future, because G*d knows you deserve a better future.
 
Funny how when some people have nothing to say they attack the person in the debate. Shows great signs of intelect and maturity.

my point is based on you telling us to get over it, whether u support it or not im not sure. waht i was merely stating is the fact that getting over it is not as easy as u think but i dont blame u, u have no clue on what im talking about.

Believe me i would love to do something about it, infact im trying. But u understand how bitter hearted it makes me feel having to try to get out of the township so i can also live a desent lifestyle where as there are ppl who dont have to go through that strugle becourse they born previlleged.

But thats my point, whouldn't things be that much better now giving you the opportunity to get out ? Yet they are not. What do you foresee happening? Do you think the gvt cares about you ? No they don't.

Monty who the hell are you to speak for the township residents? Baby is speaking as somebody who was born there, lived there under the previous regime and lives there in the CURRENT regime and I think he's more qualified than you to talk about what the government is doing/not doing for the township people. Ugly head of colonial master(ism) rears itself again. :(
