Yeah like I say it's technically illegal but it never goes anywhere.

Generally it's one of those things that as long as you don't print the discs so they look like the originals then it's fine.

In this case if it's sitting on a hard drive you can't really argue that, so again nothing will come of it.

I was asking thapedict which law makes it illegal to jailbreak a PS3.

You are overly concerned about it, just advertise and sell.If you have a firmware version that is highly sought after you can sell the ps3 for alot more than even a brand new ps3.

No, its perfectly legal. TOS does not equate the law. Sony are not law makers in South Africa. The same applies to jail breaking your iphone. Its against Apples TOS but its not illegal. It just means that they are under no obligation to provide you with any services related to the hardware. As in the old 360 banning spree that happened in the day.

Distributing GAMES is illegal. What you do with the hardware is your problem.

In some states in the US its illegal to JB your device but hey we have zuma so I call it even.
