I dunno how they managed that. As a Marvel fanboi, I can only imagine what the DC fans must be going thru. Aquaman/1st Wonder Woman/Shazam was decent, as for the rest... (that let-me-break-your-neck-for-you scene is so uncharacteristic of Superman (I do not have indepth knowledge of the character).

I dunno if *another* reboot is necessary (I suppose making it multiverse might be seen as "copying" Marvel's current expansion)... I would have made all these DC movies stand-alone or even better: get all of the people who worked on the animated stuff (so good) to handle the IPs.

Oh but that total betrayal of Superman's core values is nothing compared to the fact that JJ Abrams wants to change his SKIN COLOUR
 
And THIS, people, is why they DCEU will always take second place (and a very distant second place) to the MCU.

Chopping and changing all the time gets you nowhere. Get Cavill into the MCU in some shape or form (Cyclops in a rebooted MCU X-Men movie) and he'll have a good comic career (outside of The Witcher).

THIS isn't the same you can't know that.
Sure there's risk the movie doesn't succeed because people have race sticks up their backsides. But Capt. Marvel seems to have done alright despite the angry white men.

Captain Marvel was a great movie. You know she's a woman in the comics right?

But you're also missing the point...the DCEU keeps on rebooting their movies. Different actors, never the same universe really. They'll never have what Marvel have due to this.

Yes, I know she's a woman (well didn't read the comics but saw her on some animated show/movie). She made a remark about angry white men that got them hot under the collar prior to the movie's release. Personally didn't think the movie was all that good.

That's fine. I enjoyed it. Only people that are easily triggered by those sorts of comments would get all hot and bothered about a movie. Probably sexist people anyways.

The woman is the reason blonde jokes exist.... says stupid things and then plays the victim when someone points out how stupid it is.

The movie was meh..... lot's of stupid remarks about how terrible men are throughout for some reason and why she's superior to all men and.... it was more a sermon that was terrible at being a sermon with explosions than anything else.

If a director needs to preach at least make a proper sermon is all I am saying, no excuses for lazy execution.

Things still have to play out, what’s under the direction of Marvel vs Disney etc.
Nobody is going to enjoy content created for a PG-13 rating, that doesn’t mean it won’t be profitable.

Yes. They should just do their own thing. Pegs and circles and forcing and all that. Just make good, entertaining movies.

Your tone here is one of offence. But if you haven't watched the movie, and base it on the rants of similarly angry males, then you have no grounds to comment on the movie.
