News24 said:
The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) has confirmed it has charged EFF leader Julius Malema for allegedly firing a weapon in public during a party rally in the Eastern Cape in 2018.

In a statement, NPA Eastern Cape spokesperson Luxolo Tyali said Malema faces five counts, including the unlawful possession of a firearm.

Only took them a year and 4 months to find enough evidence.

If it was any ordinary person, they would have been in court the week after the shooting.

If the NPA are slowly but surely starting to put the screws where they are needed then I will forgive the delay...

Even though this is just a charge, and not a conviction it deserves a drink this evening.

The Commander is in a corner, I wonder what's the plan...

Anyway Jamnadas is the one who supplied the weapon.

I would guess the plan is an all out disinformation campaign from Julius in 3...2...1...

But, even with my limited knowledge of firearms, there is no doubt that was a real firearm, so it will be interesting to see what crap they spew to try distance themselves from this event.

   I would love to see CIC implicate PG in this. And get a grip comrade. PG is deputy Gandhi now; Jamnadas is so yesterday.

They should go after the owner of the security company that gave him the weapon with the intention of shutting the business down & criminally prosecuting him, maybe he'll sing if enough pressure is applied.

I would very much expect that to have happened as well, but its not necessarily news worthy for now.
