And paying a security guard in order to shower? Not a wise move. Always go to the offices. A security guard doesn't have authority to make decisions like that.

Yeah, also saw that. They also had one of the campers on 5fm this week. She said they have to chase away lots of none campers (whites as well) using the showers cause they use up all the hot water and leave the place in a mess. I don't think this incident had anything to do with racism.

And apparently the security guards at the gate takes money from people and let them in to use the facilities. Maybe that's why these people couldn't give a receipt for their "day pass" they paid for?

I wonder why this kind of racism against whites never gets headlines in newspapers?

Yes, that sounds like something more realistic. The initial report about the sign saying "Whites Only" sounded a bit absurd to me [you don't get away with that today in South Africa] ..just no way i can imagine not even the people working there not having an issue with such a sign and the colored family being the first to notice it only now?. I'm sure the security/guards are not all white people .
 
Jou dae is getal'. What would the security gaurd mean with that statement. Are we going to be slaughtered like dogs sometime soon?

It wasnt the security guard that said that, it was the people who were showering.
There is a common conception that white people are going to be slaughtered like dogs at some point soon. I find it all very funny.
Things will continue in much the same way they have up until now, the only thing that will chage will be the levels of compotence with every form of government institution which will get worse then they already are.

Can they get worse? Was watching the Minister of Education on the news when schools opened in Gauteng. We got problems when our kids aren't being schooled properly. Suspose they'll become president someday.

And so what? If there was no racism involved who cares if trespassers are thrown out, naked or not?

Where were their towels (perhaps they didn't have any). Recent experience with some of the beaches this season was that costumes are optional & towels are a luxury. My guess is they didn't have any and also didn't mind being nude in public.
 
First of all, we do not know that there was no rascism and from experience I suspect there was, then secondly...WHAT!?!... how can you justify getting assaulted in a shower and being thrown out naked in public... atleast wait until they have put on a underpants... or is that just me.

Oh wait, I see they have still not stopped even when the other side of the story is heard....

Yes there was racism, the coloured family shouted 'Julle wit boere, julle wit honde'....

So who in this story should be reporting racism to the police?!?!

And as regards being thrown out naked in public, I again think conclusions are being drawn.... the original article says "that her niece was humiliated after the towel she was wearing fell off". She may have had a bikini on underneath. Some religions regard a woman in a bikini and humiliating, so again we are reading things in between the lines....

Probably those being dragged buttnaked through dirt and being threated with a pistol:rolleyes:

In fact this article does nothing more than show me the bureaucratic nature of things. It ignores the import facts and replaces it with a more passive-aggressively toned lie.
Why should I believe these people over the victims? It is the nature of man to defend himself, and this article is no more than a desperate attempt at lightening the sentence ;)
