Never stayed up to watch....

Turned on my telly whilst lying in bed around 06:30 amd realised that there was more action happening in me mug of steaming coffee than in a wet, depressing Washington, DC.

Gentle pat on my back for making the correct choice in not staying up to watch this tosh!
 
What the hell was No9 Ivan van Zyl trying to do. Shouting "commands" or whatever,throwing his hands in the air, stuffing around at the back of the scrum and then kicks the ball away, not once but on a number of occasions. What a tosser.:mad:

Agree. That first half was horrible with the box kicking, a lot better the second half.

Where's the Sharks boys? Is it just my imagination or have robert du preez been charged down a lot in super rugby as well?

Rudy Paige would have been a better option and that says a lot.
 
I'm looking forward to the team announcement. Since Steyn won't be playing we have to assume that it'll be De Allende and Am at centers. It's going to be interesting.

Cape Town - Hooker Bismarck du Plessis and centre Frans Steyn have been withdrawn from the Springbok group because of injury.

Both players sustained the injuries while playing club rugby in France last weekend.

Both went for further investigations and specialist opinions and it was decided to rather withdraw them from the Springbok squad for the Incoming Series against England.

Have to say, I think their presence would have made a big difference in the team. One thing our team has been lacking lately is aggressive in your face players. And both have been playing some brilliant rugby in France.

Hopefully you're right, will have to see. Still thinking Frans would have been a big help in the centre position.
Faf...... Would have preferred Rory Kockott seeing we are selecting overseas players at free will.
