Just bought a CBR1000RR 2007

... Dude...I have a spare bedroom here for you and it's in Bloem, where noone will ever look for you, so you'll be safe. I think the bit that's going to make her explode is that you already bought it before asking her and THEN tried to get her to agree. On a more important note, what colours is it?

Red and Black

But has some custom work on it.

Hmmm...those are the best colours for it, I think. I'm quite into naked bikes at the moment but a R6/R1 in that blue colour just really does something for me. The missus loves that colour scheme on the CBR though. She swore she'll buy one at some point in time.

Congratulations! The CBR is my favorite superbike as well. I'm a v-twin man myself, but I can see the allure.

As for the business with the wife, congratulations there too! I did the same. "I don't like the idea of a bike and you're not getting one." Next day I paid my deposit and taking delivery end April. Men really need to stop being p*ssies around women. They do things we don't like and we do things they don't like. It'll always be that way. A successful relationship is defined by how much of each other's sh*t you can take.

:)

Speaking of that, I notice that they steal quite a lot of bikes nowadays. I'm seriously considering getting a tracking device fitted...

After the Missus kills you, have her ship the 'Blade to me to keep my 600 company

OK this is what happend last night :D

I came out clean and she's not to happy but said if thats what I really want it's fine. She know that he has a Honda 900 Blade also and suggested I rather take that one as the repayments would be less. So now I'm thinking of meeting her 1/2 way. The 900 is also a stunning bike and very well looked after. It will only be for traveling to work and back :(

Anyway

I'll make up my mind when I get there tomorrow.

Things to consider

CBR 1000 = R 1 900 re-payment
CBR 900 = R 1000 re-payment

Decisions decisions

....
I can afford the 900 if I take my salary from one of my part time jobs... *tempted* But it'll kill me and I don't have the deposit. Damnit :(

What year is the 900 and is it an RR?

And year? If it's similiar in year then I would go for the 900... At least it's almost half the price and the wife agrees... It's a win win situation... The 900 is not a shabby bike...
