So how is that a probem? can you even do 3gigs a day on Iburst?
And also, that would cap most people within the day.. some could last for two days of downloading, so I dont really see this as a problem, maby for some guys overseas yes..

I geuss you arent even saying its a problem, im just adding that. It basically doesnt matter, its nice for us, at least we dont for more that we cant use.

btw i-Guru, I *sometimes* find that a download on rapidshare disconnects and it the ncannot reconnect because the file isnt there (same place on server) and anyway they dont supprt resuming.
So if you pay do your downloading go with resume enabled and without the file being moved if you want to restart your downlaod?
It sounds worth it.. its almost like a news server.

At full potential:
In theory at 64kbps you should get about 691.2 MB of data a day.
In theory at 1024kbps you should get about 1GB in approx 2hours.

if only they allowed 1 account for more than 1 UTx, then you might be able to link them

Even if you got a multi wan router all you'd be doing is loadbalancing...I've tried.Although I am busy trying something else, 4xWAN Router, routing specific traffic over each WAN port.ie Mail for 1, Web for another, VPN on another and a fourth one as backup *different solution*.Interested to see if it's gonna work...Anyone tried this before.

BBICTH, noone is going to get near theoretical speed son a single threaded downlaod from rapidsahre, almost none will get full speed in any case.

But this was about a premium account and I was more worried about the fact that you will cap your self in one day..

well...that's why I posted the figures, but I didn't mean that you would get that speed on any single thread, let alone rapidshare. My Rapdishare averages 115KBps *close to 1mbps* and then I just loadup Bearshare or imesh or something else...and leave it to do it's thing to fill up in case Rapidshare finishes sooner than anticipated....which it always does.

I didn't mean DLing on a single thread. Are you really gonna download one thing. I just keep adding and adding till the pipe is full and then just leave it running at capacity.

I posted the figures as an idea of how quick you could cap yourself, and it does happen alot! :o

Hey! Its the 31st of May. And I have 62MB of my cap left. Thanks for all those suggestions.
