Hey Guys,
The response form Kawuleza:
"My technician has informed me that it can work on our system, but please note, it does not form part of our acceptable usage policy."
ah that's a major fail.

Not really, I can see how they would prefer users using their supplied DNS servers, as that will give the user a better experience, as well as help them diagnose problems easier. If something goes wrong with their DNS servers, they can fix it, if something goes wrong with Unotelly DNS servers there is nothing they can do to assist except inform you to change over to theirs.ah that's a major fail.

That said, if they enable Unotelly DNS servers on their network, and then just saying it is not part of their AUP, there should be no problem as long as you realise you can't blame them when Unotelly DNS stops working. Seems fair to me.
So I emailed them last Sunday from their website to apply for Uncapped. By Tuesday evening I haven't heard a thing so I send another email to inquire whether their response time is indicative of their general service...Wednesday a very friendly lady phones to apologise that they're very busy and inform me that someone else will phone me the next day to arrange for trial. The next day that person phones and promises to phone me early in the next week to set up a meeting.
Thursday evening and have not heard a thing from Kawuleza.Initial request for service was 11 days ago...
Think I'll pass on this one then, imagine their technical support. :erm: Pity, their Uncapped seemed reasonably priced compared to my current WISP - Wireless Online.
EDIT/ Durbanville, Cape Town area
Anyone else having issues with their connection? I've had a week of up and down speed and the last 2 days no connection at all. No support coming back to me either.
So Kawuleza has been fairly stable of late. Just received an email that they've sold to Sprintnet. Anyone heard of them before?
Much more expensive...will see how this pans out.

Nucleus Networx falls under holding company Kawuleza, which holds individual electronic communications network services (IECNS) and individual electronic communications services (IECS) licences, which give it the right to construct its own networks and self-provide, says Armstrong.
According to the notification email, billing will come from Sprintnet from February, will see what happens then.
I've mailed them for some answers. I'm not going to sit around and wait for a surprise bill of an extra R620 pm for the 4mb uncapped I have at the moment.
