It sounds like we have people who cry aloud when an African is defined, yet do not believe a bit in African progress. Every inch of controvesy that arises, suddenly Africa is doomed, Africa is at it again. Russia and it's colonies fought their battles and Ireland fought their battles yet they were or translated as battles that were bound and there was still hope for peace. less than 5 countries in a 53 nation continent have battles and Africa is f#$%d. If South Africa was to be drawn to civil war it would have been pre- 1994 and an ethnic cleansing would have been done then, for those who perpetrated and still reeling from not having have not gathered enough under a minority rule. So in the meantime who ever is thinking that Soweto will fight Gugulethu for no reason can have a choice to fly or shut up and contribute possitively to this country that we love so dearly.

Freshy, that is racial stereotyping, none of which has been proved to have any genetic/scientific basis. South Africa has yet to produce a black sprinter despite having a majority black population...if I'm not mistaken the few sprinters we have had in the past have been mostly white...

Just because a phenomenon happens often enough does not mean that can be ascribed to genetic differences amongst races...there's also an environment which plays a vital role in the development of an individual.

Never really thought of it, but the ones that are always the dommsday preachers maybe are pissed off they did not benefit as much.:rolleyes:

You are not even aware of the conflict resolution that have been done in Sudan,Ivory coast,Drc, Burundi and many more. Follow your politics and stop reading a lot about the f%6&* queen and the Zim son in law(her grand son) If you think Africa is so doomed, what the hell are you doing here? definately we can do better without you.

Spoken like a huge f@rt, Wonder who heard? Look at Africa man are you blind? That exactly why I proclaim the downfall of South Africa like in Zimbabwe due to Attitudes like yours! I proclaimed many things in the past and as yet are still waiting to be proved wrong. We will see. Enjoy!

All you do is go for the party, sex and pap. All free rides. What is happening in Sudan Now. What is happening in Kenya Now. You are a joker and blind on top of it. These so called resolutions is a ongoing affair as soon as Mbeki gets home he has to book the next flight to resolve the next crisis. Same town.
About doing better? Thats what you all say until the shiite hits the fanny because of incompetence and then you blame the colonials or Bush or UK or Afrikaners or just the history. Just sick!

Those that can, will leave. Not only whites but blacks too, the ones who actually see whats going on and dont just think black and white. it is not that easy to leave and we will continue to bitch and moan and the brain dead monkeys running this country into the ground as long as we want, it is our right to free speech. ;)
 
Look, while I concede Africa isn't exactly "developed", SA is so stop drawing comparisons with ZIM, Kenya etc It won't happen here, I'm yet to be proven wrong, Enjoy...
 
Well Said Noadsl. Every time the *** hits the fan, it is apartheid or colonial rule or blah blah blah the white man blah blah blah. If n ot for the white man we would be just as screwed up as the rest of Africa. That is a fact. Just look up north and see what is around.

How do you guys who blame this all on racial/genetic predisposition as opposed to complex social/cultural/political/economic/environmental factors explain confict, corruption etc. (historically and currently) in Eastern Europe, Ireland, Asia, South America? How do you explain the corruption and erosion of democratic prinicpals in the USA? I'm afraid that it's a gross oversimplification (not to mention, blatantly untrue) that it's because of race that Africa suffers from conflict, corruption and often lack of proper democracy.

Oh and NoADSLyet, I see you still haven't bothered to read the article I linked for you. Clearly you're not actually interested in any explanations for Africa's problems besides your own prejudice.

So with your apparent intellect and insight which is above and beyond our imagination, Please explain it to us! WHY Why Are Africa such dumbsuckibg fools! Why do hey squander and break down everything and return to military rule or the other. Why do they become poorer? Why are they so prone to violence!
