I wanted your opinions on this list, its apparently the current top 10 best keyboards
1) Corsair K70 RGB Rapidfire
2) Razer Ornata
3) SteelSeries Apex M800
4. Cherry MX Board 6.0
5. Logitech G810
6. SteelSeries Apex M500
7. Division Zero X40
8. Speedlink Ultor
9. G.Skill Ripjaws KM570
10. HyperX Alloy FPS

Corsair K70 RGB LUX is above all on the list that you mentioned.

@OP, what are you wanting to use the keyboard for?

Well, i have one of those generic mechanical keyboards, and i am a youtuber, so i want to improve my keyboard at one point as well xD

I have two of the Razer keyboards which are great. With that said a fancy keyboard actually makes very little difference if you do not need anti-ghosting of soft keys. Or if you want to irritate those around you with the sound of mechanical keys, which is a plus.

Read up on the different switches and choose the one whose characteristics match what you want.

I am quiker on the Rapidfire, perhaps the LUX is more balanced... Currently have a Logitech G910, the best choice that I could have made, but it takes longer to get used to Omron than Cherry Red/Brown.

Any specific reason why?

First of all, the Corsair's build material is far better than any other keyboard on your list. e.g., Blackwidow Chroma is plastic, Corsair keyboards are Aluminium...
If I'm going to pay that much for a keyboard then I would take the better build/material... Aluminium.

Now, when it comes to comparing keyboards in the Corsair range, the fastest keyboard is the Rapidfire (it has a shorter actuation distance).
The Corsair RGB LUX red cherry switches has a longer actuation distance.
You can google the actuation distance but all in all, it doesn't really make that much of a difference when gaming.

I have done lots of research between these 2 keyboards and the LUX with Red Switches came out tops in most benchmarks for normal to gaming usage.
The Rapidfire comes out tops for gaming only.

One would say that the rapidfire is more sensitive and you are going to hate it when typing documents and stuff, even resting your hands on a keyboard while thinking will activate the buttons...
The Red switches doesn't have that problem.

I would test some keyboards and their switches before buying.

The Logitech G810 keyboard is a personal favourite, easy on my wrists and nice design

My SteelSeries Apex really impresses me, lasted for a while now and I would recommend it to anyone

I have the Gigabyte Osmium mechanical keyboard with white backlighting and brown switches. Absolutely love it. Looks very similar to the K70, which is why I bought it. Can't stand macro keys on the sides of a keyboard.
