KFC for convicts

if it was only 2 pieces of chicken she wanted to give them, a caterer would have been much cheaper. even buying a wholesale bag of chicken, imported for even more cheaper.

shes recruiting msg soldiers, get out and follow the free kfc campaign :D

Not like it happens every single day. Fsck me we have other things to worry about. R60,000 <- not really a big number now is it.

Yes, was a once off and R30 per head is not bad actually. The prison system is a failed system anyway it must be costing more than R30 per day to feed these people every day.

You can't expect to lock people in a box for 10 years and for them to become better people. I think they were trying to better the situation of the prison.

I wonder if they had vegan and vegetarian options ?

I have no issue with this. Our prisons are not currently reforming many criminals. Perhaps a more caring system that actually tries to teach people to value themselves and others higher will have more success? Certainly seems to be working for the Nordick countries.

LOL, nobody is going to be reformed if they don't want to be reformed.

Not if you are competent enough to know that you can specify that you're only willing to pay so much per head you idiot. You can't just send out a blank cheque for someone to supply catering for 2000 people.

I hate to say this, but you'll struggle to find a caterer that will feed 2000 people for less than R30 per head.

Whats wrong with pap en wors, or samp and beans? Or a good breyani?

this ....... way way less than R30 a head. Sickens me what I see in the old age homes and these dregs and savages get bloody KFC

The minister was right though when she explained that whoever got that tender to do the catering would have severely over charged the department.
