Pylontech recommended charging current is 35A I think, set the maximum charging current to 40A, as it is now it's on 10A. Also check what options you have for charger options, setting it to solar only means the battery charges strictly on solar and it stops charging when there is no solar.I can increase the charging current, just dont know to what value.
I do have 6 solar panels.
Battery always was fully charged during summer before the sun went down.
But the issue is, if I leave it on solar >battery>utility it drains the battery leaving nothing for loadshedding.
So i have to manually switch it to solar>utility>battery every evening
According to what you posted you are on solar utility battery, which should work out just fine, the problem is that your battery does not charge when there is no solar, so it drains until it switches off and the inverter powers off when it doesn't see the battery.
Change the two settings first and see how it bahaves, you can still alter other settings if the problem persists but don't do too many changes at once.
