Kuils River FTTH

With our POP nearing completion the following still needs to be done over the next few days in Kuils River North AG1 - AG5 (holding thumbs this will be completed by next Friday)

1) Once all civil work has been completed, fibre has been hauled and spliced, testing of the lines occur.

2) Testing requires that light be shined through each line and meter readings are done to check losses.

3) Once testing has been completed, the area will go live and be released for scheduling.

Any idea when Vuma will be going live in Kuils River North AG1 - AG5?

Very soon. Just be patient. Some people who have pre-ordered within this area have already received calls from Vuma to schedule their installation within the next 2 weeks. Also, scheduling will start with oldest pre-orders first (first come, first serve) so if you haven't pre-ordered yet your installation will be scheduled accordingly.

According to the map, aggregate 1 to 9 in Kuils River north is now live, which means installations can officially start.

Like Joff said. AG 1 to 3 have been released for scheduling (yesterday) and it seems the first installation date will be 25th of July. Every few days more AG's will be released for scheduling as the prior AG's installations get booked. I know my AG (7) will be released for scheduling on 25th which means I'll be able to book an installation then. Regarding priority of installations, the oldest order received per AG will be contacted first.

Area 2 - Scheduling starting 21 July 2018
Area 3 - Scheduling starting 23 July 2018
Area 4 - Scheduling starting 24 July 2018
Area 5 - Scheduling starting 24 July 2018
Area 8 - Scheduling starting 25 July 2018

Not sure what happened to Area 6 & 7, but I assume that those would also be on the 24th/25th of July.

UPDATE 29-07-2018
Vumatel has been kept on their toes with installations and calls to schedule these installation since last Monday (23 July)
Please take note that Vumatel has three Installation Companies called Nano Fibre, Synchro Sec and Britelink currently assisting with installations to help speed up the installation process!

If you've had an installation already, pease share your experience and some pictures with us! As for me, my installation is booked for this Tuesday, then I'll post some of my personal experiences.
