No. I am 99% sure it's an electrical / electricity relay box. It has been there a long time before.

Are all these small flags on the corners with C-fibre on it part of this project?

I see that Vuma is busy in Amandel road at the moment. I must admit that they are progressing faster than expected. I also saw 2 Vuma okes talking to a neighbour of mine on the corner of my street. I can feel the fibre already. Although that might just be the bran muffin I ate earlier.

Yeah. Vuma has separate contractor teams working in each aggregate area. It seems they are competing to get the work done faster... Which is a great thing for us. Plus they have so much experience now with Durbanville and Brackenfell, which helps too

Eish, still only trenching in Soneike by the looks of things. I guess fibre in Silveroaks will be a bit later than expected.

Parts of Soneike (Area 1, 2, 3 and 4) should be live by the end of the June. They are busy splicing from the look of it.

UPDATE 07-06-2018
Things are progressing steadily as Vuma has started trenching in the Amandelrug/Rouxville area. The Soneike and surrounding areas are just about complete (currently testing the lines) and will go live within the next 2 weeks!

Here are some pictures of the trenching in Waboom/Assegaaibos St

Yeah. Vuma is now Busy with Areas 6 - 9 North(as seen in photo below) and all the areas above it (1 - 5 North) are basically done. ETA for 6 - 9 North is July. Vuma will probably start working in Areas 1 - 10 (Kuils River South) during this month too as they are permitted to work on 4 - 8 areas simultaneously depending on regulations and CoCT.

Area 6 will probably be completed in no time since there is not much residential roads.
