Damn that's ugly. Normally like their angular bright green in your face but that looks like a kid designed a tekkie with a ruler right after he watched autobots movie.

It's missing the part where other lambos look angular and yet somehow sleek at the same time. Like this

Lamborghini Urus recalled due to a fire risk - Autoblog

A fuel line connector could become compromised due to excessive heat

The Lamborghini Urus is being recalled due to a potential fire risk. Documents submitted on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s website say the defect is due to the “integrity of the quick connector of the fuel line located in the engine compartment.” The connector may become compromised, which could result in fuel leakage.

Of course, where there is fuel leakage, there is also the risk of a fire starting in the engine bay. How does this quick connector become compromised, you ask?

Lamborghini provides this as an explanation: “In rare instances high engine compartment temperatures subject the quick connectors to temperatures above the design operating specification limit. These elevated temperatures can lead to the quick connect material softening which could potentially result in a fuel leak.”

If you happen to own a Urus, the first sign of an issue will be a fuel odour in the engine compartment.

Lamborghini said it became aware of the issue after Porsche AG identified it in 2019, and it’s been tracking field vehicles ever since.

In July this year, Lamborghini said it started to receive complaints from customers, which prompted a second investigation done by Lamborghini.

There are a total of 2,831 Urus being recalled, spanning model years 2019-2020. All of those vehicles will need to go to the dealer for a newly designed fuel line quick connector.

Lamborghini says the labour time is only one hour, so you won’t be without your Urus for long. All work will be taken care of free of charge.

Owners should expect a notification on or before December 18 if their car is affected.

The Urus accounted for 59 percent of Lamborghini’s sales in 2020

Lamborghini has released its global sales figures for 2020, with the Urus accounting for some 59 percent of the Italian firm’s sales.

In a year “marked by the great challenges of the global pandemic”, Lamborghini says it delivered 7 430 vehicles worldwide, representing a year-on-year fall of nine percent.

The Sant’Agata Bolognese-based brand says this drop was “clearly attributable” to the 70-day production shutdown that took place fairly early in the pandemic. By contrast, the second six months of the year saw record sales figures, resulting in the best second half-year in the company’s history. In addition, the VW Group automaker says “more than half 2021’s planned production” has already been assigned to buyers.

Lamborghini delivered 4 391 examples of the Urus during 2020. The V10-powered Huracán, meanwhile, added 2 193 units (a year-on-year increase of three percent), while the V12-powered Aventador managed 846 units.

Saw a red one at Lamborghini Century City yesterday, my word it's lovely. Not the prettiest thing, but the inside, bloody hell.
