struggling to open Mybb the last two evenings. via vox. strangely working this morning :/ (Gauteng)

I am struggling the last two nights as well. It just doesn't open on VOX, but other sites and downloads work fine. I wonder if the Cape Town bug has started migrating for the winter

Heh I actually completely forgot about the MyBB not loading issue. Since last time I have a permanent static route for MyBB over my Web Africa capped account, so MyBB always work when I want to browse it.

hmmm was crazy end of last year (over 2 to three seconds, no matter my ISP), but feels better the last two to three months.
havent tried gaming yet though.... but streaming / twitch / downloads(NNTP via vox) works fine.

but yes - i'm monitoring the bitco thread like a hawk

I got a callback, after the PM on here. Must say fairly impressed with the fact that I got 2 call backs.

The sad part is, the 1 agent was convinced it is my line, even after saying multiple times, when I test another ISP account at the same time, it works 100%. It really took some convincing before she decided to escalate it.

Apparently their fatpipe accounts are limited to 20mbps on the dot as well.. Even though their website says otherwise.

Vox love phoning for some reason ? .. even when you ask them explicitly to only e-mail their reply.

I prefer having things in writing, so maybe that's why they prefer calls, as you then have no record of what was said - mission to get recordings, if needed afterwards.

Careful when comparing 8.8.8.8 pings... 8.8.8.8 has anycast routing so can explain why ISP X give you 11ms while Y sits at 100ms. It is all about the routing with 8.8.8.8.
