Yeah if tonight's performance is anything to go by, be glad you didn't get the e-mails. Pretty poor from Vox, 1Mbps download on 20Mbps line.
 
Guys who are having issues, please post what sites and protocols you testing, want to test myside too. Despite having some latency issues [not Vox related] i want to see if i can replicate it here.

Edit:

Browsing mybb at this hour is opening up pretty snappy [holds thumbs, toes and anything else].

It's fine since before I posted, couldn't even access MYBB before then. Cleared up just before 10pm, was horrible between 6pm and then. Guessing it's capacity, I'm in Cape Town for what that is worth.
 
Thank You for posting, i haven't seen the account run this good wrt streaming via twitch and browsing mybb in a very long time.

Hope it stays like this.

Used latest Snagit software for capturing and Networx for bandwidth monitoring on my main pc. :)

** Take note of that graph and it didn't even buffer once in that 2mins [prior to thinking of doing a recording, it did a few secs]. IE was just for the recording :p

Have to admit, as bad as it was last night, it is fantastic today. Even getting full 20Mbps speed on bolt on, which usually limits to about 12Mbps.
 
Anyone want to take a guess that they bought some IPC and it took awhile to come through :).

I read recently their fibre runs on a different network [would love a technical explanation on that] so +1 Vox[y].

@slvr - i normally switch between google dns and Vox's default one but lastnight things ran great as per my above posts when i experienced slow mybroadband access. Touch wood it is not to come back for a very long time :)

Yeah weird issue, been a problem on and off for ages. I think Vox blames Mybb, all other ISP's load Mybb fine though.
 
Actually it looks like VOX is actively blocking non-encrypted torrents now. Added a new torrent, it couldn't connect to a single tracker. Enabled DHT ect to make sure it picks up my VPS which it usually does, and then a select few encrypted connections started working, however still unable to connect to trackers.

Ohwell, not the end of the world for me, already had to get used to this with FNBConnect.
 
Completely fcked tonight

Apologise for the language but I can get to Amazon and Google without issue, but can't get to saix speed test, ookla speedtest or MyBB and a couple of other random sites.

Really really frustrating
 
Yeah I couldn't get on Mybb all evening. Latency is high and DL speeds pathetic. It seems as soon as the service goes to shyte, there is no access to Mybb either. There has to be a link between the issues. Can't go on like this, price isn't everything, seriously considering changing to an ISP that knows wtf is going on with their network.

I couldn't get to any other isp (except afrihost) - crystalweb, cybersmart, webafrica all timed out
