Imagine trying to push a watermellon through a key hole... you get the point. Some of the watermellon won't make it through. This is what happens when a network is congested and your traffic is not prioritized (like voice).

Was probably 3 months back. Even if it was congestion, then why didnt support just say so?
But instead they just imply that everything is fine.
I don't expect perfection, but just knowing when there is a problem makes things so much easier knowing that its not on my side and I dont have to do unnecessary tests to see where the problem is.

The rumors are true. End of June is a reality. There is a replacement product which will be launched. Check the site on July 1 for details.

I don't think their monitoring sees the core elements rather that links are up with providers. I'm visiting them next week; while I'm there, I'll check.

First I'm hearing of this - must've missed it. What happens to existing 1GB free Gig4Gig accounts with bolt-on on July 1?

Nothings changed on their site yet as far as I can see. In fact they still advertising gig4gig and bolt-on @R59 with a R50 once off connection fee. That deal was meant to end, end June 2015.
 
I was just hoping they'd announce 20mbps bolt-on, as they hinted at.
 
Well i just checked their site now and the Gig4Gig says it's discontinued. But the Bolt-On option is there, and says it's to be added to the Gig4Gig...so now what?

Existing Gig4Gig nerds can jump on the Bolt-On train but the Gig4Gig train has left. Chooooooooo
