@lantic R59 uncapped 'bolt-on' feedback

I haven't found a decently priced alternative

That's what I thought too... Had a Connection account for almost a week now. I'm pretty pleased at R199. Then again I probably only do around 150GB max per month. Not missing VOX at all.

Yes I mean less than. Bolt-on doesn't go faster than 10Mbit.

I think he meant that if your line is faster than 10 Mbps the bolt-on is the best value for money, as you get an uncapped 10 Mbps after hours account for R59. For 2 and 4 Mbps lines you can get a capped account for not much more that should be enough.

Ok what the hell is going on. I just got capped today. No usage warning nothing. Logged into the customer zone and everything is blank. Usage, package. Can't increase cap. Really frustrating.

But the bolt on account is uncapped. What did support say?

This ISP's now utter C-R-A-P & I hope they go in, before finding a buyer.

Decided in the last hour to give them a month's notice, come the 1st December, if a full month is in fact needed ?

MyBB doesn't load, and finding other services slower than any other ISP.

Can get by on about 20GB capped per month, anyway, which is less at Afrihost & Axxess, and at least stable (especially now Afri. seem to have sorted out their network).

The only positive I found was being able to pay by internet transfer, rather than having to hand over credit card details.

EDIT : used a different ISP to post this comment.

You can pay AH with your credit card every month instead of giving the details to them for a debit order. If that helps.

But I think you need to log your CC details on their system when signing up (although I already have the 1GB free a/c), before being able to purchase data ?
