@lantic R59 uncapped 'bolt-on' feedback

Awesome. So then my question. How is Netflix streaming for you guys? Last few nights I been having random buffering.

I struggled last night from 7 - 9 to stream. But after that it seemed ok but was watching on my phone after 9pm.
It sounds like the issues have been sorted now.

So tired of this fsuckn account. If I need to work I need to change accounts. So it's cheap but the performance has deteriorated to such a point I question the viability. If I can't work then it's useless.

Cancelled mine in November last year. Haven't looked back, what is sad is I was one of Vox's biggest fans and now I'm just an ex-customer.

I was considering moving from my mweb 1mbps uncapped premium (R199pm) on my 2mbps adsl line (R165) to this service (R59pm) and paying a little more for 4mbps line access (R299),as it fits my usage profile better and was hoping that it will provide more speed when I'm using it for around the same price (~R360pm). Is it still worth considering based on the recent dissappointing comments above? Streaming not a priority, but reliable connection is, even if its slower than expected at times.

Cape Town has been a problem area in the past but think its resolved now.
You will need to get the bolt on allocated to a capped account.
Account works well for me in general.

Yeah it is worth it. At least for me. I am on 4mb line. I mostly use it for streaming. Current usage stats 25gb. I have a coworker on this service on a 10 mb service and it flies.

The Gig4Gig and Uncapped bolt-on was my only ISP account for a few months. Still use it a lot. Had no problems streaming or downloading. It is well worth it to test it for a month and see what it's like in your area, but I would definitely recommend it.

Also, looking at the number of posts here compared to the other ISP threads, there are almost no complaints at the moment. Some threads go through several pages a day...

Seems Cape Town issues are starting again?

Heard a few Cape Town guys complaining about the bolt-on being useless and unable to access websites etc.

Fatpipe as well since Sunday or the "end of the holidays". Evenings between 8-10 shocking. Good old Vox.

Not sure if related but down here for me in KZN, was terrible using Fatpipe premium [no bolt-on] :/. Will test later tonight though.

I've been downloading Starcraft II (15GB's) all day, got 3 to go :) Started off at linespeed (420) this morning, but every time I checked throughout the day, it was hovering around the 300 mark. Not sure if it's Vox or battle.net?
