Latency issues

My internet: Mweb premium 4mb/s

For the past few months I've been getting horrible latency, about 500ms, to local servers between about 6pm to midnight. Are any of you experiencing such an issue.

Should I just call up mweb and ask them why this is happening

Sounds like a stellar idea. BTW uncapped will always have a worse latency when compared to a normal capped account.

This is untrue, unless your ISP is purposely slowing you down a capped and uncapped account will perform the same in terms of latency, those packets travel the same distance regardless of line speed or bandwidth caps.
An example of an ISP that doesn't slow you down can be found in the signature, along with a referral code you can use to sign up with if you choose to.

Latency is 99% a line/equipment fault, and unrelated to your ISP.
