I'm trying making a point, yes I wouldn't either,
but my point is, what value do you attach to things? do you value high end expensive things,

or cheaper more reliable, but not as expensive things, in anything phones, cars whatever you like,
I can say the same thing about flying Business class vs Economy class on the exact same plane.

or going to Checkers vs going to Woolworths to buy the EXACT same Banana.

do I like nice things? yes, who doesn't?
unfortunately I tend to over-analyse aspects a bit more than many other people on what "value" I attach to certain things.

does it make me a Hater, cause I couldn't afford an Apple vs an Android, maybe,
we all make choices, and mine isn't to buy one, and to question anybody who buys one over the equivalent android phone.

I dont see anything wrong in that,

and more to the point, I question more people who buy a Apple expecting it to behave like an Android phone.
so again, you brought an Apple device, you were (hopefully) aware of the pros and cons,

why suddenly expect it to behave like an Android phone and be able to be fixed anywhere?
and that the battery lasts forever, and the CPU stays fast?

whats wrong with questioning things? if that makes me against the Cult of Apple, and a heretic to be burned alive.

To be clear here, I was not hating or flaming you, I think you're doing that all on your own :-P

However let me go down this road with you of what value people give to things, the checkers banana vs the woolworths banana example you provided....

Some people may be prepared to pay more for a banana that has no spots and will stay fresh for several days and some people may be prepared to pay less for a banana that already has spots and has to be eaten that same day....are they both banana's? yes they are, are they the EXACT SAME PRODUCT as you put it, no they aren't....

Business Class vs Economy, will you get to the same place? Yes....But the person who flew Business will probably be better rested and not have a sore back lol...

So what I'm saying here is that I agree with you to an extent about this coming down to the values you personally ascribe to things, I also personally think Android is better value for money, even though some of new Samsung phones are basically competing with Apple on price, but I have to draw the line in the sand when it comes to buying my banana's from Checkers....

so you do agree on certain aspects, I'm quite happy and content with that,
and again, I fully agree with what your saying, if you have X amount and value some of Apples products more.

go right ahead and buy Apple.

what I dont understand, and what I continuously question, is when there are credible alternatives,
why wont you try them? and more to the point, why dont you go down that road, when the alternative is clearly superior.

Id make a very bad recruit for a Cult that much I can tell you, Id keep asking why, and not follow the leader.
does it make me weird? yes definitely, but that also does makes me the one who wont drink the cool-aid.

but alternatively, it will also make me the one still alive after hundreds are dead around me.

Should actually put iOS on an Android phone, would be less expensive....and you wouldn't void an Apple's warranty in the process :ROFL:

is it actually possible? I mean, I managed to get an older android VM on android phone working on my huawei without GMS.
and one of these days ill build a hackintosh, just to see what the fuss is all about.
 
not sure about phone's, I did the hackintosh thing a WHILE back (wasn't as great as people made it out to be imho), but I have no idea what would be involved with flashing iOS onto another handset, none of the hardware matches :-/ I would have to go and have a read about it...

I have Google maps on all my phones. Including my iPhone... even the first iPhone came with it in 2007.
