Latest iPhone update is causing battery problems

But have you tried turning it off and on again?

They are getting a hint from Apple - get a new iPhone.

I have the iPhone 6S and my boys two iPads. Since the update we are experiencing battery drainage and at least twice the devices switch off and back on again. I'm looking forward to going back to Nokia.

I am so over Apple phones
Never buying one again !!

But the isheeple just return for more punishment. That has got me thinking, if you want to find out if some one is a sadist, ask them what phone they have. :p

yeah, yeah I am just poking fun at apple users, no need to get your earphones in a bunch......whoops......sorry, your charger cable..........whoops sorry. :D

This is why I always say "remind me later" when an update comes available. Still running iphone 6 on 12.4.3, and is already running slow, I shudder to think how much slower it can get.

this,

easy to solve problems with Apple, just buy another, pointless trying to fix it,
apple isn't interested in fixing your problem, just want more money from you buying another of their worthless devices.

a more pure form of planned obsolescence I dont think exists.

Thread flooded with Android users criticising - check
quite a few of these Android users, have actually used these phones, and speak from experience.,
and its easy to just buy another, simplest way to fix ANY Apple problem

apples warranty department is basically a big trashcan,
have a problem, throw it in in the bin and buy another.
its not designed to be fixed, its designed to be thrown away.

my iphone 6 packed up a month ago
the screen has a mind of its own and just starts typing whatever it wants and launches all the apps.
Do a shutdown and start again and it behaves for a little

but its now so bad that when i switch it on it wont accept my 6 digit code, so ive tossed it into the drawer and using my android work phone as it is a dual sim. Screw Apple

I've never had to deal with them, I wouldn't know. I've owned a 3, 4, 5s, 6s, 8, Xr and now an 11. Chugging along beautifully as usual and no issues at all with 14.2 on battery or anything else.

In fact, the only issue I've ever had with a phone was when my Samsung S4 battery expanded and nearly blew up.

Go figure.

How's your battery looking after that post?

Great, still on 93% after a long read of my social media apps in bed with a cup of tea this morning. Also had about a 15 minute call with digital planet and answered a couple of Whatsapp's. All good, thanks for your concern though.

Screw Apple because your 2014 phone broke... those bastards.

Screw Apple because your 2014 phone broke?
Yes, and my previous iphone 5 just switched off one day and never came back on again
Apple se moer
for the prices of those phones i can buy a handful of Android phones that will last longer

Seriously? A 6 year old phone with outdated hardware and 1 gb RAM, and you're blaming Apple?

Just as a matter of interest, what Android phone are you using now?
