Hey [removed derogatory term], don't start having a go at me... read the thread!
marine1 mentioned not being able to get into the US and was now trying Aus. It appears he is not fussy where he goes as long as it is not SA, so I offered some suggestions.
As is often said on here, much to my annoyance, "take a chill pill"!
Try to get into Mexico first.
From there the USA is only a truck drive away.
True.
This country is getting so bad, people will go anywhere just to get away.
Only 2 worse places.
Calcutta India.
Zimbabwe.
Darfur might possibly also feature there, but i doubt that.

Only two?!?!?!?
In Travel and Leisure magazine's World Best Awards 2006, Beirut was ranked the 9th (out of 10) city in the world, falling just short of New York City and coming ahead of San Francisco.
LancelotSA you seem quite argumentative for such a 'positive' guy.
If a person is trying to get into the US or AUS then you can't exactly categorise him as not being fussy...? Broken logic.
I've always wanted to go to Beirut myself.
Bit quieter these days.
Ha ha, positive people aren't allowed to argue... hmm interesting theory!
If a person is trying to get into the US and can't and then moves on to trying to get into Aus, then yes I can categorise him as not being fussy. They are not exactly neighbours, in fact not even in the same hemisphere. It is not like deciding between Perth or Sydney!! The only thing fuzzy appears to be your logic!
I worked in Aus for six month - didn't like it.
Maybe New Zealand....
Columbia sounds fun too!![]()
Who would WANT to go to Australia. Ewwwwwww Plegh.
+- 125 000 people per year
Still wouldnt be my first pick but to each their own.+- 125 000 people per year

Where will Aus be in 20 years?
still not my first choice?Let's see. We get about 10x that from Zim each year alone.
They are getting 125 000 highly skilled people a year.
Where will SA be in 20 years? Where will Aus be in 20 years?
Nope - not even top 50 and 51-100 would be pushing it too. Just not a place I'd want to live under any circumstances but as I said - to each their own.2nd? 3rd?![]()
